Breaking down the barrier

Hello February!

Welcoming another inspiring women form across the globe. An equal opportunity for all genders. Finally! women in Saudi Arabia are prohibited to drive cars. Last year a women was arrested because of driving! ..conservative..

At last, the middle east open to challenge the locals. Mariam Al Safar is the first Middle East Lady to drive a metro train in Dubai. Yaaaaayyyyyy....that's awe! Regardless that the train itself is an automatic driving system of metro train. Still that's a breakthru!

Al Safar, means 'Journey' in Urdu words. She urged women to think more about unconventional jobs when considering their career paths. shooot.....should I become an astronaut? nahhhhhh....with my minus eyes, it wont work... T_T

Very impressive to know that she's the only qualified women to get behind controls of a Dubai Metro. Lets wait perhaps there will be more to come.

Yet, Dubai Metro's system has unmanned automatic driving system, which is centralized from the control room. But then again, when there's a system repair, a manual skill still need to be used. The metro driver still need to tackle the abilities of various situations in ease.

The metro is a convenient way to explore Dubai main city. It stops in the main point of interests. When summer come and the heat can reach up till 50 degrees Celsius, it's so comfy being inside the metro. However when you get out of the station, umbrella is recommended if you decide to have a walk to your destination at noon.

One last sentence from Al Safar, which kinda put me a thought:

"Don't live your live without a target or vision. Set a target and strive to achieve it'

Well noted ma'am, I've got a list to do on top of my priority!
Hats off to you!
