Pisang Sale, Yummy Sundried Banana

We call it 'Pisang Sale'...its naturally sweet and Its one of my favorite traditional snack. The old-school and traditional one is just so ugly shaped. Seriously, you might grinning your face once you see the appearance of this snack. Give a try and tell me if you did not fall in love with them.

I have never made it in my entire 25yrs old life..so looking on the process just give me a deep thought of how hard it is just to make a very sweet and well-dried one. So the one that has been picked from the trees must be peeled and slice them into half pieces. It should be a good quality one and you have to slice them in moreless the same sized slices. This actually might need a special technique as people in rural areas of Indonesia only used their hands and a sharp thin knives to cut them into pieces. try to cut 10 bananas and I believed you might find them variable in sizes.

Then put them into a massive tray and just sun dried the way it is under the sun. Some might use dryer machine to quicken the process but it taste not that well. The super tasty one is a result of at least two days sun dried process depending on the weather itself.  Myself prefer this original sun dried banana. it looks pretty dull but has a very delicate and special character taste.

Nowadays, this original one might be processed again being fried and added flour as well as seasoning. People are just getting more and more creative by adding cheesy, chocolate, other fruity seasoning and shaped them again into different looks. Its best to eat them anytime...back in Indo, they are not that pricey..and what best is if you buy them in traditional market, you might bargain to get better price. The more you buy, the better price you might get...Now i feel like having this Pisang Sale..somebody can you send me one pack?
