Perfect isolation at Munduk Moding Plantation

Let’s travel-time a bit to where I was last month. Alhamdulillah for the opportunity, I feel like this place deserves an enchanting praise for their charm. Munduk Moding Plantation it is in Central Bali. 

The fact that I probably like of this place is simply unpretentious and yet delivers so much. A welcome coolness up here in the hills, after the heat of the other places in Bali.

The setting is spectacular with incredible views of the Bali Sea and on clear days, you can see the volcanoes of Java in the distance. One of the most amazing pools with a view.

The resort has an organic garden, where they raise many of the fruits and vegetables used in the restaurant. It doesn’t get much fresher than that! Only the downside on the least extensive menu selection.

The room itself was huge with a beautiful modern bathroom and outdoor shower. The infinity pool is draw dropping as it juts out over the valley and hidden beneath it is a lovely warm jacuzzi which is welcome as the pool is rather chilly. 

Meals can be eaten inside or in the garden. There is even a lovely table perched on the edge of the hill under a gazebo which is stunning for breakfast. The hotel sits in harmony with the local population who happily greet you as you wander around. 

They added a game and exercise area that has a pool table and a ping pong table on the second level of the restaurant plus exercise equipment to keep you in shape. 

Don’t mind about the mozzies, its tropical highland typical. Worth to explore!
