Central Bali Tropical Beauty

Alhamdulillah, I had the pleasure of having witnessed two picturesque locations in central Bali, Munduk and Twin lake area. The surrounding hillsides are covered with jungle, coffee trees, rice fields, and pretty much anything that grows on the island of Bali. 

The village of Munduk is known for its beautiful views, clove, coffee, cocoa plantations and trekking to the waterfalls and lakes of Tamblingan and Buyan. The village of Munduk is built on a ridge and from both sides of the road you can look down into deep valleys lined with clove trees. In fact the entire vista in Munduk is rows and rows of clove trees with rice fields only at the very bottom.

Its still in the middle of the monsoon season. Saw a bit of rain and some beautiful cloud formations.. Such a lovely places, not overly touristy like some other places. Enough has been said about the view, amazing!

Above the clouds shall I say? Having fun a bit with the water lilies and bees 

White flowers somehow draws a calamity and simplicity in elegance when they are blooming. 

Can you tell how beautiful is that perfectly round-shape of this flower? Its bigger than my palm and surely not the view I normally see for such kind of flower in downtown. 

This was probably a unique and out of the norm visual of a coconut tree. Three branches, MashaAllah.. Never had I seen this amazing tree.

The edge of Twin Lake view never cease to amaze me..
